CHAPTER 01 — ORIGIN
A 40m² GYM. A SPLIT GLOVE. A PROMISE.
In the winter of 2014, our founder Tomas split a brand-name 16oz glove during round seven of an amateur middleweight final. He lost the fight. The next morning, instead of buying a replacement, he started Leathrex on the floor of his cousin's garage in Regensburg, Bavaria.
The first product wasn't a glove — it was a hand wrap, woven from a fabric blend Tomas had read about in an industrial textiles journal. He sold 200 units. Then 2,000. By 2017 he had partnered with a third-generation family workshop in Sialkot, Pakistan — the leather capital of the world — and the first Raven gloves shipped to fighters in 14 countries.
Today Leathrex outfits over half a million athletes worldwide. We are still independent. We are still obsessed. And we still test every single product on a heavy bag before it ships.

Every workshop we partner with pays double the regional minimum, offers paid leave, and is independently audited twice a year. Names and photos are on our supply chain page.
LIFETIME, LITERALLY
If a Leathrex stitch ever fails — first round or fifteenth year — we replace it free. No receipts required, no fine print. We can offer this because we know what we built.

We source only the top 12% of cowhide from European tanneries — no chrome shortcuts, no bonded composites.

Hand-Stitched in Sialkot
Each glove takes 4.5 hours of skilled labor. Double-locked seams, hand-set padding, signed by the maker.
